I was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, in 1954, but spent much of my early childhood in Argentina. My family returned to England in 1966 and I went to school in North Wales and later in Oxford.
In 1978 I joined the Foundation Course at York College of Arts & Technology and then continued my studies at the Middlesex Polytechnic, BA(Hons) in Jewellery and at The Royal College of Art, in London, MA(Hons) in Jewellery and Metalwork.
In 1987-88, I was teaching at Epsom College of Art&Design, and between 1987-96 at Camberwell School of Arts&Crafts on the BA Metalwork&Silversmithing Course.I also shared a workshop under the railway arches in Peckham and made gates and balconies out of forged steel.
In 1998, I left London and moved to Viloria, a small village in Navarra (in the north of Spain), where I still have my workshop. Since then I have had various solo and group sculpture exhibitions across the region, the most recent of these was at the Palacio de Aramburu in Tolosa(Guipúzcoa) 2018 and at the Azken Muga festival 2019.
